Chlorella’s tough cell wall grips heavy metals and toxins in the gut and carries them out, rather than letting them circulate back.

A scientific paper published in the journal Chemosphere found that Chlorella speeds up the removal of dioxins, the pollutants left behind by industry that build up in the food chain.

The Highest Chlorophyll Content of Any Plant on Earth
No botanical on the planet carries more chlorophyll than Chlorella. It is the deep green pigment doing the heavy lifting, binding toxins in the gut so they leave the body rather than settle in it.

A review in the scientific journal Applied Sciences found that Chlorella routinely carries 1% to 2% chlorophyll by dry weight. This is a remarkably high concentration compared with other plants.
In the scientific journal Foods, researchers found that Chlorella grown under optimised conditions reached around 2.3% chlorophyll by dry weight.
This is natural chlorophyll, with magnesium at its centre, rather than synthetic chlorophyll.

Packed With B12, Iron, Folate, Protein and Lutein
Chlorella is one of very few plants that supplies Vitamin B12 in a form the body genuinely absorbs.
Together with iron and folate, this is what lifts the mental fog and leaves you properly awake and able to tackle the day.
Protein and lutein feed the hair, nails and brows, while the complete protein also keeps you fuller for longer, which makes it easier to stay on top of your weight.
Scientists at the CSIR-Central Food Technological Research Institute extracted the B12 from Chlorella and, using mass spectrometry, identified it as methylcobalamin, the active form of B12 the body uses. This was published in the journal Food Chemistry.
In a human trial in the Journal of Medicinal Food, vegans and vegetarians with signs of B12 deficiency who added Chlorella to their daily diet saw methylmalonic acid, a marker of B12 deficiency, fall by an average of 34% within 30 to 60 days.

Chlorella absorbs everything around it, which is exactly why where it grows matters more than with any other superfood.
Ours comes from a small organic farm at the foot of the Tawu mountains, surrounded by dense subtropical rainforest and protected National Parks in southern Taiwan.
It is grown in crystal clear, mineral-rich spring water, rather than the sea or surface water most Chlorella comes from.

Chlorella’s nutrients are locked inside a tough cell wall that humans cannot digest. Our farm cracks it with a unique patented process: low pressure, applied for just three seconds, so you absorb twice as much.
Other producers grind the cells with small glass balls, which can leave glass residue behind and oxidises the nutrients. Think of it as rusting. Ours is gentle enough that neither can happen.

By the time the pouch reaches you, it has been quality and safety lab tested for over 739 possible contaminants, including heavy metals, pesticides, mycotoxins, dioxins and PCBs, PFAS, BPA, GMOs and microbiological contaminants. We also test for BMAA and other algae toxins such as microcystins.
It matters because not every Chlorella clears the bar. An analysis of 17 Chlorella products on US retail shelves found many carried high levels of heavy metals and cheap harmful fillers.
